Forum Title: Grass eating away blacktop
New to this page so please be easy on me. I live in Wisconsin and just had a blacktop driveway done about 3 weeks ago and last Sunday I drove over it with my John Deere zero turn mower and clumps of grass came off the tires and I didn't think anything would happen to the blacktop but today I went out there to sweep the clumps off and the blacktop is being eaten away. I had the guys that came out and did the job stop over and look at it. They never seen anything like this before. About an hour later I get a call from the guys and they said the owner said it's not there falt and I will need to pay for the fix. Just wondering if a clump of grass sitting on blacktop for 4 or 5 days will start eating it away.
